If my child is a rising high school freshmen or senior are they still eligible for the summer program(s)?
Yes! Rising freshmen and seniors are eligible for summer programming as well as recent high school graduates who are interested in our summer camp. Rising 7th graders are also eligible to register.
If my child is homeschooled or attends a private school, can they still participate in the summer camp?
Yes! Our program is open to all high school aged teens in Nashville and surrounding areas, including Rutherford County, Williamson County, and Montgomery County.
Will transportation be provided for the summer camp?
Not at this time. However, Davidson County students may use their student ID to ride the city bus (We Go Transit) for free.
Where is the summer empowerment camp located?
Our 4-week summer camp will take place at Sangtuary located in North Nashville, near Buchanan and 14th Ave.
Is the after school program available for the 2025-2026 school year?
The after school program is set to launch for the 2026-2027 school year. Please sign up for our newletter to receive more information regarding registration and partnered schools.
When will enrollment begin for the Summer 2025 program?
Open enrollment will begin March 22, 2025 for the Summer Program. Please check back closer to that time to register.
What subject/content areas are available for the summer program(s)?
The 2025 Summer Camp will focus on three content areas: Culinary Arts, Songwriting and Recording, and Video/Content Production. Students will be able to select the content area they wish to focus on for the duration of the camp.
What are the dates of the 2025 Summer Camp?
The 2025 Summer Camp is 4 weeks and will take place June 2, 2025 - June 28, 2025. We will close on June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.
What does the registration fee cover?
Breakfast and lunch everyday, program materials, and transportation for approved field trips.
