FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If my child is in middle school, are they still eligible for programming even if they aren't 13? 

Yes! All programming is open to students currently in 7th grade through 12th grade. While that age range is typically 13-17, we allow rising 6th graders to participate as space allows.

If my child is homeschooled or attends a private school, can they still participate in the summer camp?

Yes! Our program is open to all students in Nashville and surrounding areas, including Rutherford County, Williamson County, and Sumner County, Wilson County, and Montgomery County.

Will transportation be provided for the summer camp?

Not at this time. However, Davidson County students may use their student ID to ride the city bus (We Go Transit) for free.

Where are our camps located?

Our programs will take place either at Sangtuary or the McGruder Family Resource Center. The locations for all programs will be confirmed and provided prior to registration. 

Is the after school program available for the 2026-2027 school year?

The after school program is set to launch for the 2027-2028 school year. Please sign up for our newletter to receive more information regarding registration and partnered schools.

When will enrollment begin for the 2026 Summer Empowerment Camp open?

What subject/content areas are available for the summer program(s)?

Students will participate in a well-rounded daily program including SEL sessions, law and mock trial, STEM project-based learning, and more! Students will also select one of the following art focuses: Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, and Fashion Design.

What are the dates of the 2026 Summer Camp?

The 2026 Summer Camp is 6 weeks and will take place June 1, 2026- July 10, 2026. We will remain open on June 19th as we have a scheduled field trip planned. We will close on July 3rd, 2026 as it leads to July 4th.

What does the registration fee cover?

Breakfast and lunch everyday, program materials, and transportation for approved field trips.
