2026 Board of Directors Application

Applications close October 3, 2025 at 11:59pm CST.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU APPLY:

1. This is a one-year commitment beginning January 2026 through Dec. 2026.

2. Board members meet once a month (usually the second Saturday) with the exception of special meetings that may be called from time to time.

3. Board members are required to pay  annual dues. 

4. Board members are expected to be ambassadors for the L.O.V.E. Academy, exhibit professionalism, and actively participate in meetings and yearly programming. 

5. There are 5 different committees that Board members may elect to serve on as the Chair and Co-chair: Education, Fundraising, Event Planning, Communications, and Community Partnerships. Full descriptions of each committee can be found in the application.
